Throughout the year, trustaff contributes to many philanthropic causes, and during the holidays it’s no different. Every December, the employees of trustaff sponsor families at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital through our annual Giving Tree donation event. By making donations to help those going through difficult times during the holidays, we hope to make the season for giving brighter for those in need.

Because of its generous contributions throughout the year, trustaff was recently featured in the Business Courier acknowledging local businesses who have continually given to Cincinnati Children’s Hospital throughout the year. We would like to thank Cincinnati Children’s Hospital and the Business Courier for encouraging contributions to Children’s Hospital and the many charities sponsored by local business. The Giving Tree and all of the yearly donation programs from trustaff will continue to carry on its tradition of giving to good causes in hopes that we can help improve the lives of those who need it most.

The recent December issue of Healthcare Traveler showcased their annual Travelers of the Year Awards, in which three trustaff employees were recognized for their outstanding work this year. Among those recognized for their work in the healthcare staffing industry, recruiter Scott Smith was nominated by his working nurses and was named Recruiter of the Year for the excellent service he provided. We would like to congratulate Scott and all of our recruiters on all of their hard work providing each nurse with the best travel experience possible on every assignment.

As part of the Travelers of the Year Awards, trustaff would also like to congratulate Pam Campbell, RN, and Olivia Hancock, CST, both of whom Healthcare Traveler awarded for their exemplary efforts while traveling. Pam Campbell received Healthcare Traveler’s Traveler of the Year Award and was nominated by her recruiter Kara Schaufert for her very friendly attitude and outstanding work ethic while on assignment. Olivia Hancock was awarded Allied Traveler of the Year and was nominated by recruiter Chris Walton for her tremendous feedback and glowing reports from facilities and managers. We would like to thank Pam, Olivia, and all of our nurses for their dedication to excellence while on assignment.

Thank you for reading another edition of truNews, and from all of us at trustaff, have a safe and happy holiday season!
